What is Post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR)?

PCR (Post-consumer recycled) is a post-consumer recycled plastic which is collected from post-consumer waste. It is made into final PCR plastic through recycling, sorting, crushing, and cleaning.

Reduce carbon footprint and reduce pollution through recycling.

The new plastic pellets are made from fossil fuels.

And PCR (post-consumer recycled resin) is to reuse plastic waste and convert it into new products, without the need of new fossil fuels.

Giving ocean plastic waste a second life

Globally, only 14% of plastic ends up being recycled. By contrast, other materials are recycled at a much higher rate than plastic, with paper at 58% and steel at 90%.

Facing the increasingly serious problem of marine waste, some companies recycle and remanufacture marine plastic raw materials, so that the original culprit of ecological pollution has been reborn and turned into various daily necessities, which not only reduces the waste in the ocean, but also saves the use of new plastic raw materials.
